We are seeking a confident and experienced professional to undertake the role of Service Manager within our Neighbourhood Mental Health Service. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring that the Neighbourhood team operates in a safe, effective and efficient manner , delivering high-quality, person-centred care that meets the needs of local communities.
The post holder will provide operational and strategic leadership, fostering a culture that encourages and enables the team to work collaboratively with local partners, social care services, GP Clinical Directors and other stakeholders . Through strong partnership working, the Service Manager will support the delivery of integrated care pathways and ensure services are responsive to the specific needs of the population served.
Working closely with senior clinical and operational leaders, the post holder will support the division’s strategic objectives in relation to service improvement, quality assurance, performance management and service evaluation . They will lead the development and implementation of innovative models of care, ensuring services remain compliant with national and local standards while continuously improving outcomes for service users and carers.
The Service Manager will be expected to lead and manage the team to provide the day-to-day operational coordination, management and delivery of the integrated mental health service. This will include working in partnership with GPs, social care and local partners for the continued development of the integrated service.

Operational Leadership:
Support the General Manager in leading the integrated community mental health team to ensure high-quality service delivery for all adults 18+.
Develop, review, and maintain systems to ensure the service aligns with national standards, CQC guidelines, local Trust policies and service plans.
Team Management, Leadership and Development:
Have overall continuous management of the service, responsible for the co-ordination of roles, responsibilities and resources within the service
Manage, support, and develop a team of mental health professionals, including managing VCSE staff in collaboration with VCSE leads.
Referral and Caseload Management:
Oversee and coordinate the referral process and ensure individuals are seen
within agreed timeframes, with their needs met by the most appropriate service.
Advocacy and Resource Connection:
Advocate for individuals and their families, connecting them to local community resources to address their wider needs.
