We have an opportunity for a Non-Medical Prescriber to join the GYAS CRHT.
We are looking for a Mental Health Clinician, with extensive crisis team experience, who has completed their Non-Medical Prescribing Course and is already qualified, consideration will not be given at this time to those wishing to complete the training and not yet qualified.
Are you an experienced clinician who is highly motivated with a range of transferrable skills and is enthusiastic about working with adults experiencing mental health difficulties? - Formulating treatment plans to provide a holistic service to meet mental health and physical health needs.
- To complete comprehensive assessment including assessment and management of risk.
- Undertaking urgent medication reviews.
- Exploring alternatives to admission and advocating for intensive community-based/home treatment options.
- To provide advice, support and guidance where required to the MDT.
- To support staff development and act as a role model to the team, such as demonstrating the behaviours required in line with our Trust values.
- Take part in Quality and Safety Reviews within the Trust.
- Undertake Line Management Supervision within the team for an agreed number of staff.
