Independent Form F Assessors – North East & North West
Foster Cares Ltd is actively seeking passionate and experienced Family Placement Social Workers to join our pool of Independent Form F Assessors.
We are particularly interested in those with a strong background in completing BAAF Form F assessments of prospective foster carers and who are confident working to high standards and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete thorough BAAF Form F assessments of prospective foster carers
- Produce high-quality, well-structured assessment reports
- Present reports confidently to our Independent Fostering Panel
- Work independently, with flexibility around schedule and location
Requirements
- Recognised Social Work qualification (BA/MA/MSW or equivalent)
- Proven experience in family placement social work, particularly in conducting BAAF Form F assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and a child-centred approach
