About the Role
We're looking for a Prepress Customer Adviser to join our growing Prepress team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring artwork is prepared accurately and efficiently for print.
The role combines technical artwork checking, customer communication, file preparation and supporting our growing in-house Design Service. It requires excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills and a customer focused approach.
As a department, we're continually improving the way we work through automation, AI and new technologies. We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, embraces change and is excited by technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Check customer artwork to ensure it meets print specifications.
- Prepare artwork ready for print.
- Provide expert artwork advice and support to customers.
- Create and amend customer artwork where required.
- Support our in-house Design Service.
- Ensure customer jobs are processed accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
- Investigate artwork issues and identify practical solutions.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Production and other internal departments.
- Contribute ideas that improve quality, efficiency and the customer experience.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of print, Adobe Creative Cloud and AI-assisted workflows.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new software.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.
- A willingness to continuously learn and embrace new technologies, including AI-assisted workflows.
This role is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday over a variety of patterns
Pay: From £26,437.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dundee DD2 4SW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
