Luxury Lodge Helper
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm
Salary: £25,000–£45,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and highly organised Luxury Lodge Helper to join our team in Carlisle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in housekeeping or hospitality who takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional standards. You will play a key role in ensuring our luxury holiday lodge is presented to the highest standard for every guest, creating an outstanding guest experience from arrival to departure.
This is a varied and rewarding role requiring someone who can work independently, manage their own workload and consistently maintain five-star standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing the luxury properties to an exceptional standard before each guest arrival.
- Carrying out all housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry and changing bed linen.
- Completing routine inspections of the property and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Liaising with contractors and accepting deliveries when required.
- Ensuring both the lodge and surrounding outdoor areas remain clean, tidy and well presented.
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation at all times.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of five years' experience in housekeeping, hospitality, luxury accommodation or a similar role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A positive, dependable and professional attitude.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- A current DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to provide three professional references.
