About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Traffic Management Operatives to join our growing team. You will play a key role in maintaining safe traffic flow around roadworks, construction sites, and public events while ensuring the safety of road users, pedestrians, and fellow workers.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and contributing to essential infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems
- Setting up road closures, diversions, cones, barriers, and signage and traffic Lights
- Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Ensuring all works comply with health & safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with team members, site supervisors, and the public
- Responding quickly to traffic management issues and emergencies
- Working safely in various weather conditions and environments
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Previous traffic management experience preferred but not essential
- LANTRA NHSS 12D / 12AB certification desirable
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
