Role Overview
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will operate as one of Rex’s senior commercial contributors in the UK , playing a pivotal role in supporting our Commercial Director with shaping our market presence and revenue outcomes. This is not a traditional field sales role; it demands a highly strategic, deeply networked individual who brings credibility at the cleint decision maker leveland a genuine passion for PropTech.
You will be responsible for owning complex enterprise sales cycles, activating your established network across the UK real estate ecosystem, and contributing to the commercial strategy that will supporting in defining Rex’s next chapter in the UK. You will work closely with the UK Commercial Director and serve as a trusted senior voice both internally and in the market.
The ideal candidate has spent their career in PropTech and SaaS, is well-known within UK real estate circles, and brings a book of senior relationships they can leverage from day one. You will be expected to win at the highest level while helping elevate the wider UK commercial team around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Industry Network Activation: Leverage deep, established relationships across the UK real estate ecosystem — including agency groups, franchise networks, PropCos, and PropTech influencers — to open doors, accelerate sales cycles, and position Rex as the platform of choice.
- Consultative Enterprise Selling: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements with C-suite and board-level client decision makers, applying a consultative approach to diagnose business challenges and architect bespoke solutions from across the Rex Software Group portfolio.
- Commercial Strategy Contribution: Collaborate with the UK Commercial Director and CRO to develop pricing frameworks, partnership structures, and market entry strategies that accelerate revenue growth and strengthen Rex’s competitive positioning.
- Pipeline & Revenue Ownership: Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline, delivering accurate forecasting and achieving ambitious revenue targets. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract execution and handover.
- Partnership & Channel Development: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with real estate bodies, industry associations, referral networks, and complementary PropTech providers to extend Rex’s market reach.
- Market Intelligence: Provide executive-level insight into market trends, competitor movements, and customer sentiment, informing product roadmap feedback and go-to-market pivots in collaboration with Product and Marketing.
- Thought Leadership & Brand Representation: Represent Rex at senior industry events, roundtables, and conferences as a credible voice in PropTech and real estate technology. Build Rex’s profile within the UK property community through visibility and engagement.
- Cross-sell & Portfolio Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand client relationships across the Rex Software Group portfolio — including Rex CRM, Rex PM, Cirrus8, and Rex Reach — increasing wallet share and deepening platform dependency.
- Mentorship & Team Elevation: Act as a senior peer leader, coaching and mentoring junior sales team members, sharing industry knowledge and elevating the capability of the broader UK commercial team.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver regular, accurate sales reporting and forecasting to the Commercial Director and senior leadership, leveraging CRM data to drive data-informed decisions and maintain pipeline hygiene.
- Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities and contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.
- Deep, established industry connections across the UK real estate sector — including senior relationships with estate agency groups, lettings networks, property management firms, PropCos, and industry bodies. This network is considered essential, not a differentiator.
- Extensive PropTech experience, with a strong understanding of the UK property technology landscape, key players, and emerging trends. Candidates should be recognisable within the PropTech community.
- Proven experience selling complex SaaS platforms to mid-market and enterprise customers, navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees and long sales cycles.
- Proven track record in competitive displacement sales, demonstrating the ability to win customers from incumbent providers rather than simply managing inbound or order taking opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at C-suite and board level, with the presence and commercial acumen to command credibility in senior rooms.
- Experience contributing to commercial strategy, go-to-market planning, or market expansion initiatives — not just executing against a pre-defined playbook.
- Strong ability to drive complex deal structures including multi-product agreements, enterprise licensing, and partnership arrangements.
- A natural networker and relationship builder who invests in the industry over the long term — active at events, visible in industry circles, and trusted by peers.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret pipeline data, market signals, and commercial metrics to inform decision making.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
