The Role
As a Painter Decorator / Maintenance person , you will be responsible for;
- Prepare various surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, and fixtures to uphold safety and appearance standards
- Operate relevant tools and equipment safely, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, ladders, and scaffolding
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate project timelines and requirements
- Drive company vehicles as needed for transportation to different job sites
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, decorating or related maintenance roles
- Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork
- Valid driving license with the ability to operate a vehicle safely across various locations
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques, tools, and safety procedures
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working in various environments
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with different types of paints and finishes as well as basic carpentry or repair skills
Health & Safety

Working within the factory involves the use of specialist materials and equipment, and successful applicants will be expected to comply fully with all Company Health & Safety procedures.
This includes:
- Wearing mandatory PPE at all times.
- Correct use of respiratory protective equipment (RPE).
- Following COSHH assessments and chemical handling procedures.
- Working with extraction systems in operation.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Reporting hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses.
- Following Company Safe Systems of Work.
- Supporting our "See It. Say It. Sort It." safety culture.
