Salary: £40,267.50 per annum
We have an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a dedicated housing repairs and maintenance team in Ealing.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of responsive repairs and maintenance works across tenanted social housing properties
- Replacing and repairing skirting boards, architraves, internal door frames, and other carpentry elements
- Installing, adjusting, and repairing kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors, and associated fixtures
- Repairing and replacing internal doors, handles, locks, hinges, and ironmongery
- Identifying and resolving minor plumbing issues, including leaks, dripping taps, and blocked sinks
- Undertaking patch plastering and making good damaged walls, ceilings, and surfaces
- Completing wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting, sealing, and finishing works
- Carrying out painting and decorating duties to a high-quality, professional standard following repair works
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company quality standards
- Working within occupied properties while maintaining professionalism, respect, and sensitivity to residents' needs
- Identifying and reporting additional repair requirements, safeguarding concerns, and property issues outside the scope of works
- Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with residents at all times
- Accurately recording job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld technology or job management systems
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition
- Managing daily workloads effectively to achieve productivity targets and service level agreements
- Collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and other trades to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
