About the Role
Braehead Ice Centre, located within Braehead Arena, is Scotland’s Premier Ice Rink and home to the Glasgow Clan. Welcoming thousands of visitors each year, we are proud to provide a wide range of skating experiences for all ages and abilities, from public skating sessions, learn to skate programmes, figure skating, ice hockey, group bookings and themed events.
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused individuals, aged 18 years or over, to join our F&B Team. Working primarily in the tuck shop, you will provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and drinks in a fast-paced leisure environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and is happy to work flexible hours. Evening and weekend availability is essential.
Additional hours will be available to the correct applicant during Braehead Arena Events.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food, snacks and beverages.
- Operate the till and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and presentation.
- Replenish stock and monitor product availability.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Follow all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Work as part of the wider Ice Centre team to ensure an excellent customer experience.
What We're Looking For

- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Previous catering, café, retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
