Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to painting and decorating work environments
- Proficiency in using various painting tools, techniques, and finishing methods
