Do you enjoy helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential?
A specialist SEND school in Godalming is looking for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil, helping them feel confident, engaged, and successful throughout the school day.
- Deliver tailored 1:1 support to meet the pupil's individual learning and emotional needs.
- Help the pupil remain engaged and focused during lessons.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and the wider support team.
- Create a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment.
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is beneficial.
- Calm, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach.
- Able to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
- Passionate about supporting children to achieve their personal best.
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location.
