Responsibilities
- Assist the driller in preparing and maintaining drilling equipment, including excavators and other machinery
- Monitor drilling operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
- Support with equipment inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing routine maintenance
- Operate auxiliary machinery under supervision to facilitate site activities
- Help manage logistics by supporting transportation needs, including commercial driving tasks when required
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety checks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and timely project completion
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Valid UK driver’s license - trailer experience would help
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols at all times
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork
- Prior experience in drilling operations or construction is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Salary will be judged accordingly to experience/qualifications/certificates.
Pay: £25,420.00-£29,500.00 per year
