Job Overview
To be responsible for the IT infrastructure, system updates and third-party
developments at Heaton Moor Medical Group. As well as managing the online Triage
platform to ensure communication with patients and clinicians are managed effectively.

Requirements
- Must have an excellent knowledge of EMIS, DOCMAN, ACCURX and Microsoft
office applications.
- Willingness to work across all the sites that are within Heaton Moor Medical
Group and to travel.
- Must have Administration skills and experience.
- Professional appearance and outlook.
- Able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Experience of multi-tasking/adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Committed and reliable.
- Ability to prioritise work, work independently.
- Flexible with working hours.
Main Duties/ Job Responsibilities/Tasks
- To be able to lead and manage new and ongoing IT and Telephony projects. This
will mean dealing with external staff like Greater Manchester IT board and the
ICB.
- Produce search and reports on the clinical system for both nonclinical and
clinical staff.
- Manage and update Resource Publisher within the clinical system.
- Produce reports for the practice and PCN to help analyse data.
- To support the Heaton’s PCN group in data reporting and projects overseen by
the Business and Operations Manager.
- Training and dissemination of information/ training packages to administrative
staff on existing and new IT projects.
- Manage the Online Triage platform, this will include training staff and signposting
and dividing the workload effectively.
- Dealing with patients on the Online Triage platform effectively within a set time
frame.
- Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time.
Shift Pattern
Monday: 08.00 – 16.00
Tuesday: 07.00 – 15.00
Wednesday: 08.00 – 16.00
Thursday: 11.00 – 19.00
Friday: 07.00 – 15.00 (+ 4 lates per year, working 10.30 – 18.30)
Annual Leave
5 weeks – 6 weeks on completion of successful probation period
Work Location: In person - Across the Main site and Heaton Moor Medical Centre and
all branch sites which form part of Heaton Moor Medical Group
Pay: From £13.77 per hour
