Job Description:
We are looking for motivated Carers in Bedford (including neighboring communities) to support our domiciliary care clients in their homes. The role requires traveling therefore you must possess a car and a valid driving permit. Immediate start required as well.

Location: Bedfordshire and surrounding areas Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: £13.50 - £15 (+ 35p mileage)
Shift Pattern: Long days 7am-9pm (3-day rotational on/off pattern)
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Provide high-quality personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
- Support service users with medication in line with care plans and company procedures.
- Assist with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration according to individual preferences and dietary requirements.
- Help with mobility, moving and handling using appropriate equipment safely.
- Carry out light household duties such as cleaning and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction and wellbeing.
- Accompany service users to appointments and within the community where required.
- Support individuals in maintaining contact with family and friends.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice and respect at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in a service user's health or wellbeing to the Care Coordinator.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families and healthcare professionals.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Essential:

0–2 years' experience in a healthcare or care worker role (applications from those new to care are also welcomed if they demonstrate the right values).
- Caring, compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Must have right to work in the UK. No Visa Sponsorship.
- Must be a driver and have own car.
