Your responsibilities
As our Kitchen Porter you will work closely with a team of chefs, assisting in their busy service and operations.
It is important that our Kitchen Porter enjoys working as part of a busy team and adheres to exceptionally high standards of Health & Safety, hygiene, and customer care.
A friendly and flexible working style, good problem solving skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure are important attributes for this position as is excellent organisational and communication skills.
The Role:
- Carrying out basic cleaning tasks quickly and to a high standard
- Collecting and washing pots and pans
- Cleaning crockery & cutlery
- Ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready for use
- Unloading equipment and food from deliveries
- Ensuring the storeroom remains clean, tidy organised
- Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised
- Disposing of rubbish
