Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Fledgelings Day Nursery. A full induction is given and training to support every staff member in their role to deliver the best possible care to our children.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages learning through play.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress.
- Ensure the nursery adheres to health and safety regulations and all children are safeguarded.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early years is essential.
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.

Pay: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
