Job Title: Regional Wholesale Manager
Responsible to: Head of Wholesale
Job Purpose: To drive sales growth and bring on new wholesale customers for Rave that increase revenue and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover new opportunities and develop those new accounts to broaden and deepen the Rave client base
- Nurture new accounts to maximise potential via on site visits and telephone support
- Delivery of Key Performance Indicators for the Wholesale team performance including revenue and margin and other metrics
- Negotiate and agree terms following internal company processes ensuring appropriate authorisations and pricing has been approved
- Maintain accurate records on customer visits and sales calls to ensure effective customer relationship management is maintained
- Respond to customer queries to facilitate sales transactions
- Provide accurate reporting as required using the necessary technology platforms
- Planning and organising time and personal work schedule to best support wholesales activities
- Keep self informed of new product information and promotions ensuring accurate information to customers is provided
- Work collaboratively with other parts of the business supporting the delivery of the wider business activities
- Support colleagues on ad hoc troubleshooting and problem solving and if necessary be prepared to support operational areas if critical resourcing needs dictate
- To actively contribute to Rave's social and environmental objectives, fostering a culture of responsibility and positive impact
- Awareness of personal health and safety at work, as well as the safety of others, by adhering to established protocols, identifying potential risks, and promptly reporting any concerns to ensure a secure work environment for all
Person specification - Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Customer facing experience desirable not essential
- Curiosity to learn and understand the foundations of working in a wholesales and marketing environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work efficiently, calmly and with accuracy
- Attention to detail ensuring existing and prospective customers receive accurate information in a timely professional manner
- IT literate including the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively with others treating colleagues and all stakeholders with respect and common courtesy
- Demonstrate support and care for others in the pursuit of the common goals for the business
- Communication skills including listening skills and a questioning style and good written communication skills
