Technical Product Owner : Entigy Software
At Entigy Software, we build web applications for the finance and travel sectors. Our clients trust us to help them improve critical areas of their business, and we've built a reputation for delivering quickly and accurately.
We're looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to take ownership of requirements and client relationships for one of our core platforms. This is a hands-on, client-facing role sitting between business analysis and product ownership. It is not a traditional project-scheduling PM role.
About the Role:
You'll join a long-running development team that delivers a significant volume of work for an established client. This is a full-time, office-based role, and you'll take ownership of requirements gathering, client liaison and functional specification for the team, giving it the dedicated focus needed to scale sustainably as demand grows.
You'll work directly with the client to understand and clarify requirements, translate them into functional specs the development team can build from, and stay close enough to the data and system behaviour to have informed conversations with both sides.
Key duties across a variety of disciplines include;
- Work with the client to understand, clarify and prioritise requirements
- Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria the development team can build from
- Own day-to-day client-facing communication, including status updates and reporting
- Understand system and data behaviour well enough to have informed, technical conversations with both developers and clients
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with client needs and business goals
- Conduct regular backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions
- Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues and clarify requirements during delivery
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively flag issues before they become problems
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
- Collect feedback from the client and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement
What we're looking for:
- Business Analyst or Technical Product Owner experience, ideally in fintech, payments or financial reconciliation
- Comfortable getting into the technical detail and underlying data to understand system behaviour (you don't need to write code)
- Experience writing functional specifications
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working directly with an external client
This isn't a developer role, and it isn't a traditional junior PM or coordinator role. The priority is translating requirements into something the team can build, not code delivery or meeting admin.
Join us as we continue to grow and strengthen how we deliver for our clients.
Note: Applications via Recruitment Agencies will not be accepted at this time.
