Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and sociable Festival Bar Staff to join our vibrant team at Poole Harbour Festival
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving drinks efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively festival atmosphere, ensuring guests have a memorable experience while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Previous bar experience is prefered but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using POS systems
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to safety and quality standards, including food safety protocols where applicable
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces and restocking supplies as needed
- Promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with licensing laws
- Assist in setting up and packing down the bar area before and after each shift
- Work with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bar environment is prefered but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Good communication skills and a friendly positive attitude
