The primary purpose of this role is to guide and support a caseload of apprentices and learners through their learning journey, delivering a structured curriculum while adapting to individual and employer needs.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering teaching sessions, maintaining accurate records, supporting e-portfolio use, and embedding English and maths functional skills early in the programme.
Functional Skills form a vital component of the apprenticeship and requires the Tutor to facilitate all teaching and learning to support successful achievement.
The role also involves conducting progress reviews with learners and employers, delivering ongoing IAG/CIAG, and facilitating contextualised sessions on Safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, EDI, and Health & Safety.
High learner and employer satisfaction is expected. Success in this role is measured by learner progress, timely achievement, and retention. A dynamic, motivating approach is essential to help apprentices and learners complete their programmes and achieve strong outcomes.
