THE ROLE & TEAM
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our thriving Housing team based in Manchester, working alongside our wider team in Liverpool and working closely with Partners in Housing supporting the fee earners within the team.
You will be joining one of the UKs foremost Housing teams who have a wealth of experience in acting for Registered Providers. The team work on varied and housing management matters including anti-social behaviour and housing management possessions, injunctions, committals, housing disrepair and hoarding cases, access injunctions and housing management policy advice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will support fee earners in connection with:
Anti-social behaviour matters and other breach of tenancy injunction applications.
Housing management possession proceedings.
Disrepair claims, including responding to pre-action correspondence, organising disclosure and assisting with liability assessments.
Applications for access injunctions.
General housing management advice relating to tenancy and occupancy issues.
Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court forms.
Maintaining and updating files using the Case Management System.
Preparing bundles and supporting court-related processes.
Conducting legal research and assisting with client instructions.
Providing efficient administrative and case management support across the team.
ABOUT YOU
A genuine interest in housing litigation and social housing matters.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Strong IT skills and confidence using case management systems.
A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of the team.
