We are hiring a Sales Assistant for Lolita in London working 2 days per week including one day of the weekend 10:30am to 7pm. (Potential full-time depending of performance).

Lolita in London boutique specializes in Fashion, Cosmetics and Makeup from London, Japan, and South Korea, meaning that is a colorful shop where we look for a fresh face, smiles, and good vibes. The Sales Assistant works alone, so must be responsible and punctual, capable of managing the shop and providing top customer service, at the same time that reach the sales targets. We don't need a cashier but someone active and dynamic.
The shifts are 10:30am to 7pm, please answer the question regarding your availability to work so we will contact those who matches what we need. The ideal candidate will be a motivated woman focused in sales and customer service with experience in Retail, excellent communication skills, passion for sales, and which can maintain the store in good condition.
We don't need a cashier but a Sales Assistant who can sale and manage the store alone.
*Duties
- Opening and closing the store, and maintaining the shop clean (daily)
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide product information. The candidate will need to learn about fashion from Japan and Korea, as well skincare and makeup.
- Utilise basic maths skills for transactions, sales processing and maintain the sales records.
- Assist customers effectively, being active. Customer service and being active are key in this role. Approach customers, engage with them, make suggestions, invite them to try, and close sales.
- Demonstrate upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities and increase the average sales.
- Sell fashion, skincare, makeup, and fashion accessories to customers in person in the shop.
- It’s a retail job, so the employee understands that will need be standing during the working hours. We don't need a cashier, and we need full mobility.
- Take payments through the point-of-sales system.
- The Sales Assistant must look presentable as we sell fashion and cosmetics.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop. The cleaning must be done daily.
- Maintain good merchandising and restock the displays.
- Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Control the stock levels and avoid differences. Stock control is key in this role.
- Depositing money to bank or changing coins in the bank when required.
- Giving due care to fragile, delicate and perishable goods.
- Packing and shipping online orders when necessary (only when the main storage is closed for holidays)
- Help creating content with social media. Short videos early in the morning to post on Socials, lives on socials, etc.
- Ask for reviews from happy customers.
- The employee will be wearing cute fashion from the Boutique and Lolita style dresses as a uniform according with the brand Lolita in London (fresh, clean and cute).
-We offer sales commissions to be sure that the Sales Assistant always tries to reach the sales targets.
- Holidays can not be taken during school holidays, July, August, November or December, or in school holidays or bank holidays as are our busiest seasons.
We have a dress code wearing our clothing and dresses, and our coats in winter.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
