Responsibilities
As our Nursery Manager, you will:
- Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team of early years professionals.
- Ensure the nursery consistently delivers outstanding care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
- Build positive and lasting relationships with parents, carers and the local community.
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery, supporting occupancy, staffing and the overall success of the setting.
- Promote a strong culture of safeguarding, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
- Support your team through regular coaching, supervision and professional development.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Minimum Grade C in Maths or equivalent
Skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding requirements.
- Organised, proactive and able to lead by example.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional childcare and education.
Experience
- Previous experience managing or deputising within an early years setting.
- Experience leading and developing a successful nursery team.
- Experience preparing for or supporting Ofsted inspections is desirable.
