As part of our growth strategy for 2026, we are launching the NCC Education Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Business. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Lecturer to join our academic team and play a key role in delivering these exciting new programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials across our business programmes, including NCC Level 4 and 5 Business modules.
- Assess, grade, and internally verify student work in line with Pearson BTEC, NCC Education, and partner university requirements.
- Support curriculum planning, resource development, and programme delivery at Levels 4, 5, and 6.
- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and pastoral support to students.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to retention, achievement, and employability outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body standards, quality assurance requirements, and internal quality processes.
Person SpecificationEssential
- Master's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' teaching experience within UK Higher Education or Further Education.
- Experience delivering HND (Pearson) and/or university franchise programmes.
- Strong knowledge of core business subjects, including Finance, Leadership, Agile Operations, and Sustainability.
- Experience using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) such as Moodle or Canvas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and student support skills.
Desirable
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, Fellow of the HEA, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering NCC Education programmes.
- Knowledge of Ofqual-regulated Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
- Assessor/Verifier qualifications (A1, V1, TAQA).
- Industry experience or academic management experience.
- PhD or relevant professional business qualifications.
