Position: Early Years Practitioner
Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday
Salary: £28, 000 plus Negotiable depending upon experience
Contract: Permanent

Roof Top Nursery has an outstanding track record and we are based in Hackney, The nursery is a provider of high-quality childcare and education for young children within a fun, stimulating and safe environment; working in close partnership with parents as well as providing a differentiated framework for learning to meet children’s individual needs.
We are seeking upbeat, enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioners to join our stable, reflective and dedicated team. The successful candidates will be creative, innovative and passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
The main duties are:
- ·Plan, prepare and deliver engaging activities that meet the diverse needs of children aged 6 months and above
- Act as a key person, monitoring, assessing and recording children’s learning and development
- Produce written observations and reports in line with EYFS requirements
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- ·Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:
- Level 3 childcare qualification (essential)
- Excellent literacy and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A warm, positive and professional approach, with a genuine passion for early years education
- Inspire and motivate colleagues to improve their practice
- Have up-to-date knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and Framework.
- Have excellent knowledge of Safeguarding
- Have a mature and professional attitude to work
- Have a commitment to good early years practice and inclusive education
- Have a clear knowledge of the development and emotional needs of children
- have more than 2 years experience working with young children aged 6 months to 5 years.
- Have previous experience being a key person
- Have GCSE passes in English and Maths
- have a sense of humour
- Be available 8 am-6 pm, Monday to Friday
- Ideally living in Hackney or close to Hackney
