Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to identify, nurture and convert new leads and drive business growth across our nationwide pest control and canine bed bug detection services. This role is 100% new business and is focused primarily on the care and hospitality sectors, requiring a personable, customer-centric approach combined with technical pest control knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and contacting new prospective clients,
- Converting new leads into long-term commercial partnerships
- Conducting detailed site inspections and surveys to assess pest-related issues
- Preparing comprehensive reports with tailored pest control recommendations
- Collaborating closely with customers to assess their specific needs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships within the hospitality and care sectors
Essential Requirements
- Personable and customer-centric approach
- Strong understanding of pest control, including pest behaviours and control methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills for conducting thorough site surveys
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Willingness to travel (75% preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
