We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our well-established, highly-regarded law firm based in Whickham.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about property and helping clients achieve their property goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of Residential Conveyancing transactions, including but not limited to, freehold/leasehold purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new build developments.

As a Residential Conveyancer, your responsibilities will include:
● Working closely with the team to progress a caseload of property transactions through to competition.
● Liaising with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors to expedite processes.
● Drafting and approving various legal documentation.
● Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team (as needed).
● Building new and nurturing existing client relationships.
● Assisting and communicating with clients on legal matters relating to property purchases.
● Meeting deadlines in an organised and effective manner.
● Conducting legal research where necessary.
● Using case management systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
● At least one year of experience in Residential Conveyancing.
● Strong knowledge of the conveyancing processes.
● Have experience in dealing with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, new build developments and re-mortgages.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
● The ability to work using their own initiative and make decisions.
● The ability to work in a team environment.
● Experience working with case management systems.
Job type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm to be worked from our Whickham office.
Salary: Dependent on experience
