As our services continue to expand across career training, employer partnerships and AI-enabled market analysis, we are looking for an AI Business Strategy Manager to support strategic planning, commercial opportunity assessment and data-driven decision making.
The Role
The AI Business Strategy Manager will support Zenex Plus in identifying growth opportunities, assessing new business areas and improving the company’s use of data and AI tools across market research, employer engagement, training product development and commercial planning.
This role is suitable for someone with strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and an interest in how AI, labour market data and education technology can shape graduate employment, career training and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse UK employment market trends, graduate recruitment patterns, employer hiring demand and career training opportunities to support business strategy.
- Evaluate new commercial opportunities, including training products, employer partnership models, recruitment support services and education-sector collaborations.
- Build financial models, commercial forecasts and scenario analyses to support management decisions on pricing, investment, growth and operational planning.
- Use AI tools, data analytics and business intelligence methods to improve market research, lead segmentation, service planning and performance reporting.
- Monitor developments in AI, education technology, graduate recruitment, career training and employer demand to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare strategic reports, investment cases, market research summaries and business recommendations for senior management.
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting frameworks covering sales pipeline, employer engagement, candidate demand, conversion rates and service performance.
- Work with sales, marketing and career consulting colleagues to translate market insights into practical actions, service improvements and client-facing materials.
- Assess commercial and operational risks relating to new service lines, partnership opportunities and market expansion plans.
- Contribute to long-term business planning, including product positioning, pricing models, partnership strategy and growth priorities.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Investment Management, Business Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in investment analysis, business analysis, market research, financial modelling, strategic planning or commercial consulting.
- Strong interest in AI, education technology, graduate employment, career services or recruitment-related business models.
- Confident using data analysis, forecasting, spreadsheet modelling and AI-enabled research tools.
- Ability to interpret complex information and turn it into clear business recommendations.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce reports, presentations and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
- Good commercial judgement and the ability to assess both opportunities and risks.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Experience with CRM systems, dashboards, BI tools or sales/marketing data would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the UK graduate employment market, international student career support or SME hiring trends would be beneficial.

Pay: £70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
