We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional manner. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation is beneficial but training will be provided
