Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Safety Marshal to oversee safety protocols and ensure a secure environment within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining health and safety standards, supporting management in implementing safety procedures, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Monitor the premises continuously to identify potential safety hazards and address them promptly.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with organisational standards and legal requirements.
- Assist management in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Provide guidance and support to staff and visitors regarding health and safety practices.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
- Support hospitality functions by ensuring guests are welcomed warmly and their safety is prioritised during events or visits.
Skills .
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, with the ability to enforce policies effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse groups including staff, guests, and contractors.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergency situations.
