East Kent Care Ltd is looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate Community Care Assistant to support a valued client in the Faversham area.
You do not need to drive for this position if you live locally or can reliably travel to the client using public transport, walking or another dependable method of transport.
This position provides 24 contracted hours across every 4-week rota.
If you are able to reliably commute to additional clients across Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Tankerton and surrounding areas, additional hours are available. This makes the role ideal for both non-drivers looking for local work and applicants who can travel and would like to build additional weekly hours.
Hours Available
Monday to Friday (Every Week)
- 1-hour visit each day
- 5 hours per week
- Single-handed visits
Every Other Weekend
- Saturday – 1-hour visit
- Sunday – 1-hour visit
Only the alternating weekend visits are double-handed, meaning you will work alongside another experienced care worker throughout each weekend visit.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred care that helps our client remain safe, comfortable and independent within their own home.
Your duties may include:
- Providing personal care
- Supporting daily living activities
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting the client with their daily routine
- Working alongside another care worker during alternating weekend double-handed visits
- Completing accurate electronic care records
