Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various premises. The successful candidate will ensure environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly and used efficiently
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet or window cleaning
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact politely with colleagues and clients
- Customer service skills are desirable to ensure a positive experience for visitors or staff members
- Valid driving licence is an advantage for roles requiring travel between sites
