Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Community Care Givers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals within their homes and local community settings. The ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to improve the lives of others, particularly those with specialised care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in the healthcare and social care sectors. Prior experience in assisted living, patient care, or nursing home environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care to clients, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Support clients with activities of daily living, including toileting and personal hygiene.
- Assist with specialised care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or senior care
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by administering first aid when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments is desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices including medication administration and behaviour management desirable.
- Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care is advantageous
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is Desirable ( we can also accommodate Non Drivers )
- Excellent communication skills and a caring demeanour
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts including Weekends .

Pay: £13.40-£14.50 per hour
