What You’ll Be Doing
As Box Office Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience, overseeing daily operations, and supporting the wider team. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening and closing the box office, including daily cash handling
- Selling tickets and managing group bookings with accuracy and efficiency
- Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Overseeing the display and distribution of printed promotional material around the venue
- Taking on regular Duty Manager shifts on evenings and weekends
- Bar and café shifts – covering the bar during the day and assisting the bar team during evening shifts

We need someone who is highly organised, calm, capable, and customer-focused, someone who can lead by example, keep operations running smoothly, and motivate their team. This role is full time and includes evenings and weekends due to our busy events schedule.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven management and leadership qualities
- Strong understanding of GDPR and data privacy practices
- Good IT literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Office
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous experience in a box office or ticket sales environment
- Cashing up / end-of-day reconciliation experience
