Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance and Compliance Manager to oversee the upkeep and safety standards of our hotel located in the heart of the countryside. This pivotal role ensures that our facilities operate smoothly and meet all regulatory requirements, contributing directly to our commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across all hotel departments to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring proactive repairs and inspections.
- Oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of necessary supplies.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and training.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly.
- Collaborate with management to plan for future upgrades and renovations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance within the hospitality or similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English.
