Due to the expansion of our R&D Department, we have several newly created Mechanical Engineering roles available at our site in Kingswinford.
The purpose of this role is to create and develop design solutions for Handicare products and to provide engineering designs which comply with the appropriate regulatory requirements, detailed to a high standard to facilitate manufacture.
Core responsibilities

Design solutions to meet technical, quality, time and cost requirements (SolidWorks CAD)

Undertaking appropriate calculations and analysis to prove suitability of mechanical designs

Producing engineering detail drawings and other associated documentation necessary for product certification, manufacture, installation and service

Verification, validation and development of designs from initial concept to volume manufacture

Working effectively with other company departments and external suppliers to realise complex technical solutions in a volume production environment

Any other duties deemed reasonable, which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role and level of responsibility.
- Qualified to a minimum of HNC or Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, with suitable post-qualification experience within a Design & Development engineering environment.
