TIDES is one of Torquay's newest and busiest seafront restaurants, located on Abbey Crescent. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, we pride ourselves on serving fresh, seasonal food alongside exceptional customer service in a vibrant waterfront setting.
Our kitchen is fast-paced, professional, and passionate about delivering consistently high-quality dishes. We're looking for a chef who thrives under pressure and wants to be part of an ambitious, growing team.
Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef to join our busy kitchen team, working alongside our experienced Head Chef.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume kitchen and wants to develop their skills while creating exceptional food using fresh, quality ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Maintain consistently high standards across every service.
- Ensure excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
- Support with developing seasonal dishes and menu specials.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services.
- Help maintain stock rotation and minimise waste.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
