Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Level 3 or above qualified Nursery Deputy Manager! In this dynamic role, you will support the nursery manager in leading daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Responsibilities
- Assist the nursery manager in overseeing daily nursery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Support the implementation of engaging early childhood education programs that promote learning and development
- Lead and motivate a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies to maintain a secure environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns
- Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance childcare quality and team performance
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and appraising nursery staff to build a skilled and motivated team
Requirements- Level 3 or above Full and Relevant Childcare Qualification Required
- Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working with children, demonstrating strong childcare skills and understanding of early childhood development
- Knowledge of nursery regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are required
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties or outreach activities
- Passionate about early childhood education with a proactive approach to leadership and teamwork

Pay: £13.70-£15.10 per hour
