Fancy taking the next step in your hospitality career? We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Pub Supervisor to help open our new pub and keep things running smoothly from the get go.
About Us
The Wilde Poet will be a lively, welcoming Irish pub in the heart of Worcester, known for live music, live sport, great pints and an even better atmosphere.
The Role
As Supervisor, you'll take charge of shifts on the floor, support the management team, and make sure customers and staff alike have a great time.
- Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts, keeping service running smoothly
- Open and close the pub, including cashing up and basic security checks
- Help train and mentor new team members
- Monitor stock levels and report low supplies to management
- Handle customer queries and minor issues, escalating where necessary
- Ensure the pub meets licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards during your shift
What We're Looking For
- Some experience working in a pub, bar, or restaurant, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
- A friendly, confident manner and pride in great customer service
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy shifts
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- A team player who's happy to lead by example
