Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service to patrons in a lively and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with company standards
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Assist with setting up events or special promotions as required
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Ability to serve drinks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and stocked
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse customers

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
