Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Door/Shutter Technical Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated doors and shutters across various retail and industrial sites.
The ideal candidate will have a broad amount of technical and compliance knowledge which spans across a range of automatic door manufactures. Good communication skills with all internal business colleagues and external customers. ADSA accreditation to EN 16005 and BS 7036 1996 and BS 7036-0 2014.
This role requires excellent leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.
Duties
- Manage and supervise the installation, servicing, and repair of automatic doors and shutters on-site.
- Coordinate with clients to assess project requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing training and guidance on technical procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues related to automated doors/shutters efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed within specified deadlines whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of schematics and technical drawings relevant to automated door/shutter systems.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work or construction trades are preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards health & safety compliance along with excellent problem-solving abilities. Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
