Administrator
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy office. This is a key role within the practice, acting as the first point of contact for clients while providing essential administrative support to the team. Although based in Galashiels you will communicate and support across our 6 offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Greeting clients and handling enquiries in a professional manner
- Maintaining client records and databases accurately
- Supporting the preparation and processing of documents (accounts, tax returns, etc.)
- Scheduling appointments and managing team calendars
- Assisting with billing, invoicing, on boarding and general office tasks
- Ensuring compliance documentation is up to date
- Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies when required
About You:
- Previous administrative experience (accountancy or professional services preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- A professional and friendly approach to client service
- Experience with accountancy software is an advantage but not essential

Pay: £23,135.00-£27,000.00 per year
