Packing and labelling components and finished parts.
Hand-held deburring of machined parts.
Operating a small ultrasonic washing machine to clean components.
Setting up and operating a part-marking machine.
Providing general support within the machine shop dispatch area.
Operating press machines in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely at all times to prevent injury to yourself and others.
- Complete all production and quality paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
- Monitor the quality of products produced and report any concerns or non-conformances to the machine setter or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, ensuring good housekeeping standards and minimizing the risk of accidents.
- Follow company health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
- Support production activities as required to meet operational targets and customer requirements.
Skills & Attributes
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
- Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to support different production areas when required.
- Previous manufacturing, machine shop, or press shop experience is desirable but not essential.
