At Wheatley Care, great support starts by listening to the people we work for and co-creating services that help them achieve what matters most. We are looking for an ambitious, compassionate and values-led Health & Wellbeing Team Leader to help shape our Stirling & Grangemouth SDS Service.
You will lead within a service recognised for Excellent Care Inspectorate results, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and mental health support needs to live safely, independently and with choice.
The post will mainly be based within Grangemouth, with flexibility required to work across the wider Stirling & Grangemouth SDS Service as operational needs require.
Across Stirling and Grangemouth, our teams help people build confidence, make choices, connect with their communities and achieve outcomes that matter. As Team Leader, you will create the conditions for those everyday achievements to happen.

What you'll lead
· Empower colleagues to use initiative, make decisions and achieve positive outcomes.
· Build a culture of trust, learning, reflective practice and two-way dialogue.
· Promote creative approaches that improve quality of life, independence and resilience.
· Support people to influence decisions, shape support and achieve personal outcomes.
· Provide day-to-day leadership mainly from Grangemouth, with work across Stirling & Grangemouth SDS as needed.
· Develop future leaders through supervision, coaching, induction and workforce development.
· Sustain standards through quality assurance, improvement planning and regulatory practice.
· Build relationships with families, carers, social work, health professionals, commissioners and community partners.
· Support staffing, rotas, attendance, performance and service development.
· Participate in Wheatley Care's on-call arrangements.

Essential requirements
· SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care, or equivalent, or willingness/ability to work towards the required qualification.
· Experience of leading, supervising or supporting staff within a care or support setting.
· Understanding of outcome-based supervision, person-centred practice, co-production and continuous improvement.
· Knowledge of Self-Directed Support principles and commitment to high-quality, individualised support.
· SSSC registration, or ability to achieve registration within required timescales.
· Flexibility to work mainly from Grangemouth and across Stirling & Grangemouth SDS Service as required.
