Applications are invited for the post of Accountant/Senior Accounts Assistant for a Automotive business in Dundee and Burrelton ,Perthshire. The companies operate 2 vehicle sales locations near Perth and a large Accident Repair facility in Dundee-the role will consist of working in both locations in a friendly and supportive office enviroment
Applicants should be preferably qualified in Accountancy and have a minimum of 3 years practical accountancy experience in the use of Sage accounting systems and the preparation of detailed budgets , management accounts and key reporting data to the shareholder and senior management. However applicants with a sound knowledge of Payroll/Vat returns and experience in managing purchase and sales ledger functions will also be considered . This experience and skill is a pre requisite of the role.
This is a very diverse and interesting role and the successful applicant would be working closely with the senior company management and director.
Experience of HR functions and employment contracts would also be an advantage .
This post is based in Dundee and near Perth so applicants should currently reside in the Dundee area or be able to commute easily on a day by day basis. Applicants should have their own transport to commute to and from work. Applications from candidates who do not currently reside in the area will not be considered.
The full time hours are 35 hours per week but the company will consider applications from candidates seeking part time employment. Some home working may be possible but onsite working will be required.
This role will suit someone who wishes to contribute to the operation of each operation and be a key member of the finanace and management team.
