We are seeking an organised and motivated Logistics Operations Manager to support the effective running of our logistics and installation operations. In this role, you will oversee scheduling, stock management, customer service, and logistics coordination while working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You will help ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare Risk & Method Statements for project installations.
- Manage and mentor logistics coordinators, assign tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
- Client feedback/Non-Conformances/Incoming inspections.
- Customer service (distribution/returns/replacements).
- A sound knowledge of store and stock control reporting
- Administration of orders with third party logistics partners and internal stock management teams.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with our key accounts.
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers.
- Provide information to customers about the status of their order installation nationally.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and compliant.
- Assist with the receiving/booking in of goods at Head Office and third party warehouses
- To manage and present the schedule planning to the wider teams.
- Schedule vehicles/personnel on client driven delivery booking systems.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements and responsibilities are followed as stated in the company I15 Safety Management Procedures
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- A logical and systematic approach to work.
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- To effectively time manage and prioritise workload.
- Previous logistics/operational experience desirable, but not essential
- Full, clean UK driving license.
