Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Furniture Paint Sprayer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of furniture pieces, ensuring each item meets our rigorous standards for craftsmanship and durability. Your expertise will help bring furniture designs to life with flawless, smooth finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal and longevity of our products. Responsibilities
- Prepare furniture surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate spray guns, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently to apply paint and finishes with precision
- Mix paints, stains, and sealants accurately using basic math skills to achieve consistent color matching and finishes
- Conduct fabrication tasks such as assembling furniture components prior to painting or finishing processes
- Utilize welding and fabrication skills when necessary to repair or modify furniture parts before painting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse or workshop environment, adhering to safety protocols
- Inspect finished products for quality, smoothness, and uniformity; perform touch-ups as needed to meet standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a furniture paint sprayer or in a similar role within construction painting or furniture manufacturing
- Strong mechanical knowledge of spray equipment, power tools, hand tools, welding, and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and handling various materials used in furniture finishing processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for mixing paints and measuring components accurately
- Prior experience with assembly tasks related to furniture manufacturing or repair is preferred
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and surface preparation methods is advantageous
