Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests.
- Manage cash register operations, handle payments accurately, and provide correct change.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and promote special offers or events.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods calmly and effectively.
- Good communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards guests.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service.
