Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other communal areas according to established standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Follow health and safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed.
- Support team members during busy periods by stepping into additional cleaning or guest service tasks when required.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated janitorial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive approach to guest service.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.
